What's WCX?

WCX allows you to speculate on the price movement of financial markets with BTC.

You predict whether your market's price will rise or fall, and the degree to which you are right or wrong determines your profit or loss, in BTC.

WCX is designed to be incredibly easy to use for beginners and professionals alike. To get started, sign up for a WCX account and verify your ID.

Deposit

To trade, you need to deposit BTC. Go to the trading dashboard and click on the Deposit button in the left sidebar to get a deposit address. Deposits are credited after 1 confirmation on the blockchain.

Demo trading

WCX also offers unlimited, risk-free demo trading. You get 10 BTC to demo trade, which you can refill indefinitely. You can switch between your real and demo accounts from the top left corner.

Demo trading works exactly like real trading, except your balance is fictional.

Submit a new position

To submit a new trade, enter an Amount then click on Buy to profit from the price rising or Sell to profit from the price falling.

The amount you enter is the total order size, including leverage.

Leverage allows you to multiply your buying power and hence your profit and losses. As an example, if you deposit 1 BTC and trade a market with 100x leverage, you can make trade of up to 100 BTC.

You can adjust the leverage used for your new trade by clicking on Advanced. Learn more about leverage.

Buy positions are submitted at the market's ask price and sell positions are submitted at the market's bid price. Learn more about prices and spreads.

Close a position

To close an active position at market price, click on the X next to your position in the Positions panel.

When you close a position, its profit or loss is added to your balance.

You can also close your position at a predetermined take-profit and/or stop-loss price. Simply click on your position then on the TP/SL tab to set those.

Buy positions are closed at the market's bid price and sell positions are closed at the market's ask price.

Advanced

Submit a pending order

  • Set an Amount in the left sidebar.

  • Click on Advanced, then set a Price for your order.

  • Click on Buy or Sell to submit your order.

Pending orders act like limit orders or stop orders, depending on the price you submit. They work in both directions.

Buy orders are triggered by the market's ask price and sell orders are triggered at the market's bid price.

Cancel a pending order

  • In the Orders panel, click on the X next to your order to cancel it.

Partially close a position

Assuming you have an active position, you can partially close it by using the Split feature.

  • Click on a position in your Positions panel to bring up the position's Details.

  • Click on the Split tab.

  • Enter an amount or percent you want to split off, then click Split Position.

  • Your position is now split into two smaller positions, which you can close independently.

Setting a take profit and stop loss

  • Set an Amount in the left sidebar.

  • Click on Advanced, then set a Take-Profit and/or Stop-Loss for your position.

  • Click on Buy or Sell to submit your position.

Secure your account

Add an extra layer of security to your account by enabling 2-factor authentication (2FA) from your Settings.
